Only the baby classes (children under 2yrs) require a parent to get in the pool.

How many kids per instructor

We work on a 2 kids per teacher with beginners. When the child start to become   more comfortable in the water its is 3 kids per teacher. Stroke correction is 4 kids per instructor.  Baby classes are no more than 9 babies per class. From my years of experience I have learned that children progress quicker when they swim in a group.

How long will it take my child to learn to swim.

Learning to swim is a long-term process that requires regular practice. Every child progress at their own rate. Children older than 3 years will take about 6 -12 months to learn to be safe in the water.

What age should I start with swim lessons.

The sooner the better. We take babies from 6 weeks. Swim lessons for babies and toddlers to improve their physical development.

Do you offer squad training

My pool is 10 meters long, so if you would like your child to enter into competitive swimming, joining a club would be advised when they have mastered all the strokes.

What happen when we miss a lesson?

If for any reason you have missed your lesson, we will organise a catch-up lesson if there is an opening in the schedule. Please email us if you know you will not attend a lesson. The money will not be refunded for the missed lesson.

What should my child wear?

Babies - Disposable swimmers nappy with a swimsuit over the top. It really helps to prevent accidents in the pool. We have disposable nappies for sale in the waiting area

Everyone else - Swim costume, swim cap,  goggles (optional) and towel

Is there a registration fee?

We don’t ask a registration fee. We do require a refundable deposit (1 month’s fee)  that will be used for the notice month or paid back in full.

How long do I have to give notice if I would like to stop with lessons?

We require one month’s written notice if you wish to terminate your lessons. We can then use your deposit as your last month’s fees.

Can I watch my child’s lesson?

We prefer that you observe your child from inside the waiting area. In my experience, they progress much faster when they are not distracted. This is with the exception of parents in the baby class, parents of special needs and beginners.
